The office of George Ranalli, Architecture opened in 1977 in New York City. Currently, the office is located in the garment district in Manhattan. Over the past 31 years, the firm has worked on projects such as large scale urban designs, houses in the landscape, additions, renovations, restorations of major landmark buildings and new constructions in New York, and other states in the US., as well as international projects.

The firm is internationally celebrated and published for working in historic settings, National Register Historic Landmark buildings and settings with rich design and craft tradition. We have been able to design new buildings and additions to these complexes, which are contemporary and creative, while blending seamlessly with their historic environments.

The projects have developed a rich craft and design vocabulary, which ties this work to the origins and roots of the longer craft tradition in design and architecture.
