PARK AVENUE RENOVATION

This project explores the idea of a return to dense stone construction for both environmental reasons and to explore the possibility of an ornamental approach to the stone construction.

The scope of the project was a new dining room, adjacent to a renovated existing kitchen and a breakfast room with seating area and pantry storage. The exterior wall, which encloses the building, was to be made of Valders Buff Dolomite stone with pietra serena accent stones inserted in various locations.
